Many women do not know what is normal to have hair in places like men. For example, many women have at least a little ‘hair of his chest. If you’re lucky, you have much less hair than a man, but will likely find the unwanted hair at some point in their lives, both in the legs, face, chest, or any other area of the body.
There are many options for hair removal: shaving, waxing, hair removal, threading, depilatories and electrolysis. Each has its advantages and disadvantages, however, electrolysis is the only proven method for permanent hair removal. The public often is unaware of the benefits of other types of electrolysis hair removal.
Whatever you can do to remove the hair above the skin will not stimulate growth. This means shaving, depilatory creams and cleansers have no effect on hair growth. The disadvantage of these methods is that usually does not last long. Before visiting my office, many people are under the impression that pulls the unwanted hair with wax or tweezers to get rid of their problems. Pull the hair with tweezers or wax lasts longer, but to stimulate hair growth in some areas of the body, including face, groin, or breasts. The exception to this is to wax your legs. Wax your legs can cause hair to grow less completely, due to its effect on the glands in the area.
There are about 1000 follicles in every square centimeter of skin. Every single hair with tweezers, wax or thread will not return for almost 3 months, so that the hairs are removed in time between the new hair! Very scary! Each time the forceps, wax, hair or thread, is stimulating the hair follicles in the area to make new hair. You can start one or two hairs, and those only, stimulate growth, to the point where clips day and night, and cause ingrown hairs! With electrolysis, you can avoid these problems and permanently remove unwanted hair.
